Most AI vendors were founded the year before last. Most operations engineers with twenty-five years behind them are three years behind on agents. The overlap is small, and it is the whole company.
Twenty-five years of things that were expensive when they broke
Ľubomír Harmanovský has spent his career on systems where failure had a cost. OpenVMS clusters at a NASDAQ-listed semiconductor manufacturer, including migrating a mission-critical cluster from Alpha to Itanium across sites in the US, Slovakia and Malaysia — a migration most engineers now working have never seen, let alone run. Linux and the content delivery network behind Slovakia's second-largest news site, around a hundred virtual servers, for eight years. Before that, roughly a hundred and sixty servers serving tens of thousands of customers at a Slovak hosting company.
Today: ten years and more in biometrics and security technology, delivering software projects for a European company in the field. And, alongside it, an infrastructure at home where AI agents genuinely operate things — where the on-call rota is a cron schedule and the first responder is an agent.
That is the pairing on offer. Not a startup that discovered agents last year, and not an operations veteran who reads about them. Someone who has carried production for twenty-five years and spent the last two months teaching agents to carry some of it.
The other half of the name
Digital Symbio has been around since 2017, and the tree in the logo is not decoration. The interesting part of this work was never the technology — it is what happens when the technology meets people who did not ask for it.
Ľubomír founded the NGO Sieť Dobra in 2012 and is a certified Community Building facilitator. That is not a hobby listed for colour: our AI enablement work is not a technical problem, it is facilitation. Walking into a room of people who quietly believe a machine is coming for their job, and leaving with them curious rather than defensive, is a skill you do not get from running clusters. It is the unfair advantage.

Karin Magová is the company's second director. Ľubomír delivers the technical work; if you hire Digital Symbio, he is who turns up.
What we are not
We are two people. We are not going to staff your project, sit on your rota, or answer at 4 a.m. We are not going to tell you AI will transform your business, because mostly it will not — it will do a few specific things very well and quietly cost you money everywhere else. Working out which few is the actual job, and it is most of what you would be paying for.
